GREGORY D JACOBS
PRINCIPAL BROKER / ASSET MANAGER
Greg has been active in real estate since 1997. Greg began his real estate career as an Asset Manager for a large developer in Columbus, Georgia. He moved back home to Oregon in 1999 and worked for Princeton Property Management in Portland, Oregon, where he managed the largest producing real estate portfolio in Princeton’s organization. In 2004, Greg joined COLM Commercial. He feels that by truly understanding unique client needs, he is better able to serve them.
Greg received his formal education from The University of Oregon awarding a Bachelors of Science in B.S. Advertising & Marketing. His business acumen has led to the founding of five regional and national companies. Greg received an officer’s commission in the US Army, and went on to retire as Captain recognized for his technical competence and crisis management skills. He has also been an active member of the community and was a Deputy with the Deschutes County (OR) Sheriff’s Department for six years.
Greg resides in Sunriver, OR with his beautiful wife and two sons, where he enjoys fly-fishing, competitive sports, motorcycles, and marksmanship.
Maxine moved to Bend in 1978 from the San Francisco Bay Area with an extensive banking background specifically in the lending field. She was employed by a local bank before she became licensed as a real estate agent in 1980 primarily selling residential real estate. In 1984 she entered the residential and commercial management, leasing and sales business with a partner. In 1985 she became a broker, and she purchased her partner’s share of the business in 1988.
Maxine has attended several IREM classes to further her education in real estate. She was appointed a board member of the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency by Governor Kitzhaber in 1999, and she completed her term in 2007.
Maxine is an experienced commercial real estate broker and has been involved in the major growth of the commercial industry of Bend.
Krista and her family relocated to Bend in 2007 where she continued her work in the medical field. She has managed multiple offices and medical practices and specialized in advising staff and physicians on how to make their medical space more efficient and valuable. Krista started working for COLM Commercial in 2011 in special projects and asset management. She has worked in tenant and landlord representation with an emphasis on the medical field. Her awareness of the medical field needs allows her to offer customized comparisons of potential practice locations based on occupancy costs and current and projected patient data. These comparisons allow providers to make informed decisions that increase the probability of the practice’s growth and success.
A native of Logan, Utah, Krista went to school in Southern Utah at Dixie College and Southern Utah University. She also owned and operated a successful quilt shop in Cedar City, Utah before making the decision to move to Oregon.
Krista lives in Bend with her husband, Beau, and their three children. Always looking for creative outlets, Krista paints, quilts, gardens, dabbles in photography, enjoys furniture restoration, and loves to get out on the trails hiking, biking, or running.
Reynolds Maxwell has spent the past 11 years as a commercial real estate broker and developer. He has been an active broker in Durham, NC and Bend, OR, representing investors, landlords, and tenants in dozens of lease and investment-sales transactions. Most recently, Reynolds represented an international investor in the purchase of a $15-Million apartment package located in Corvallis and Eugene, OR.
In 2004 Reynolds started his own company, Headwall Development, Inc., to focus on adaptive-reuse development projects. He has successfully redeveloped 9 commercial properties and actively manages 6 of these as fully-leased, long-term hold properties.
Prior to entering real estate, Reynolds served as an Investor Relations Manager at venture capital and hedge fund firm Bowman Capital. He played a lead role in raising over $1 Billion for 2 new venture capital funds, and also serviced the firm’s largest clients, including Goldman Sachs and Blackstone. Reynolds began his career as an investment consultant at Cambridge Associates, providing financial analysis for major endowments such as University of California and the MacArthur Foundation.
Reynolds holds the CCIM designation, recognizing successful completion of advanced coursework and significant transactional history in commercial real estate. He is a member of CCIM, MLS, COAR, the National Association of Realtors, and Stanford Professionals in Real Estate. He currently resides in Bend, OR with his wife and two children.
Reynolds graduated with Honors from Stanford University in 1995.
Trish graduated in 1984 from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a BA in Political Science and then served for 4 years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps as part of the Army’s College Loan Repayment Program. Assigned to Headquarters, 8th Infantry Division (Mechanized) in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, Trish provided legal support services for general courts’ martial, administrative discharges, death investigations and contract law. In 1990, Trish joined Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies in Sacramento, CA, as a loss control consultant, with subsequent transfers and promotions over her 11-year career to San Jose and on to corporate headquarters in Novato, CA. Trish relocated her family to Bend, OR, in 2001, and joined COLM Commercial as a commercial property manager and leasing agent. In November 2006, she became VP-Operations, happily applying her legal, risk management, and real estate background to the daily operations of COLM.
Rick joined COLM Commercial in August 2012, as a property manager. Much of the 12 years prior to COLM Commercial he was employed as a manager for a durable medical equipment company, where he learned all aspects of how to manage and operate a successful business.
Rick was born in Portland, Oregon. He and his family moved to Anchorage, Alaska when he was twelve years old. This is where Rick developed a strong work ethic, spending many hours commercial fishing. Rick enjoyed all Anchorage had to offer until he moved to Corvallis, Oregon where he went to college. He graduated from Oregon State University in June 1993.
Rick and his wife moved to Bend, Oregon in 1994 and have two children. Rick is a true people person, who enjoys helping others and has very strong customer service skills.
In Rick’s free time, you’ll most likely find him spending time with his family, camping, golfing, fishing or skiing down the slopes of Mt. Bachelor.
Nikki joined COLM Commercial in March of 2011 as Office Administrator. She is a native Oregonian and has always resided within the borders of our beautiful state. Growing up in Eugene, Nikki attended Lane Community College where she studied Business Administration and moved to Bend in 1978.
Along the way, she has owned and operated a weight loss franchise, been an assistant manager of a medical office, provided operational and administrative support in the broadcasting industry, and developed long-term administrative expertise in the accounting field.
Nikki enjoys most of the recreational activities that our region has to offer with an accent on running, biking, and skiing.
Alberto is the lead maintenance services technician for COLM Commercial.
Alberto always has a great attitude and takes pride in assisting tenants with their needs. Many of Alberto’s skills have been developed through years of hands on experience.
In his free time, Alberto enjoys playing outdoor sports, enjoying the diverse Central Oregon weather and spending time with his family.
